The team at Glostrad are appealing for support for the on-going maintenance and development of the project. This is well worth considering, even if you don’t live in Gloucestershire – there is some excellent stuff on the website
What is Glostrad? Why is it important? Can you help? The Glostrad.com website was set up 10 years ago with the help of the National Lottery to make available to the people of Gloucestershire their heritage of hundreds of traditional songs and dance tunes to use in schools, choirs and by anyone else. It has been praised nationally and used by many musicians and singers. But we do not have any regular source of income and have continuing expenses for the running costs of the website. Although the sums involved aren’t large (less than £1000 a year for routine running costs), without more funds it is in danger of failing.
