Nick Dow has written to tell me that a new selection of 100 songs from the Hammond and Gardiner manuscripts has now been published by Francis Boutle. It is called Southern Songster. Musical notation has been provided by Cohen Braithwaite Kilcoyne, and there are extensive song notes by Steve Gardham. There is also a small selection of Chanties, introduced by Tim Radford.
